Goppo Guro was born from a quiet concern

— that somewhere along the way, we lost our relationship with play, with paper, and with pause.

In a world that rewards speed, optimizes for outcomes, and replaces stillness with screens, we wanted to make space for something slower. Something more human.

At the heart of GoppoGuro is story. Stories have always shaped our world — and they continue to shape us, moment by moment, through imagination, memory, and the fragile, beautiful act of understanding one another. Goppo Guro means small stories. Sparks of stories. Gentle beginnings that ask nothing of you except curiosity.

We design books, stories, and simple paper experiences that let these small stories unfold through play. There are no right answers here. No timers. No expectations. Only moments of presence, of imagination, of stumbling into something together.

GoppoGuro is not just for children. It is for anyone who still believes — or wants to believe again — that stories, play, and pause are not luxuries. They are what it means to be human.

Our Team

A Small but Loud Bunch

GoppoGuro was built by people who believe that a folded piece of paper can change the energy in a room — that a story shared at the right moment can plant something that grows for years.

Our team is a mix of storytellers, designers, educators, and dreamers, scattered across Bangladesh and beyond. Some of us come from classrooms. Some from studios. Some stumbled here from completely unexpected places — and stayed, because this work felt like something worth staying for.

What holds us together isn't a job title. It's a shared restlessness — a feeling that the world moves too fast, and that someone should be making things that ask it to slow down.

We work closely with the women artisans who fold every Little Joy by hand, with the schools that bring our experiences into their classrooms, and with the children who remind us — constantly — why none of this needs to be complicated.

We are not trying to build an empire. We are trying to build a moment. Hopefully many of them.
